Blueberry Pie

I used six pints of Blueberry's, 3/4 c of sugar, 1/2 c flour, 2 table spoons of tapioca, 1teas vanilla, and 1/2 teas nutmeg. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 
1 and
1/2 hours. Tip: I cover the Pie with foil or a pie ring for the first 65-75 mins so the crust doesn't burn. Uncover and let finish baking. Let cool, enjoy with whip cream or ice cream.

From Mom and Dads Wedding Album

 Mom and Dad were Married October 23, 1955. My Mother died recently, (Feb. 3rd 2013), my Father has been gone for almost 21 years. I miss them both dearly. I really enjoy having these wonderful pictures of them. William Charles of Beverly MA was their photographer.

Home Baking Through A Snow Storm

I had the day off due to a very large SNOW STORM today. (well our first big storm this winter) So I found myself in the mood to bake! Above are Lemon Cup Cakes with Lemon Frosting, Biscuits made from scratch, which  don't usually come out very well. I tried a new recipe, just two ingredients! They look a little funky because I used some fun cookie cutter shapes to cut them out. Then I made a casserole with left over chicken, carrots, potatoes, gravy, and stuffing. All of it tasted wonderful. The only issue is that I made to much!

"The Common Ground Fair" 2012

Lisa and I had a Great time at the Fair. We spent a lot of time in the Children's Entrepreneurial Tent. Where young people display a large variety of Jewelry, goodies, sewn items, and more! We drank a lot of Hot coffee, Chai, and Hot Cider. Ate some yummy food, and had pie cones on the way out of the Fair. The Eco Kids Tent is a place for the children to paint and draw with all natural products. (I added their link)
