JR. and I made these four necklace's for Christmas gifts. They were all easy to put together, just a few connector's, charms and various chains.( I haven't made a lot of jewelry, so I needed to start with the basic's!)

Secret Garden Necklace

I put this pretty little necklace together today. "The Heart states", secret garden on one side, plain on the other. I liked how the heart hangs on the chain, so delicate and fairy like!

Inspiration is all around us!

Doesn't this fairy look as though she's ready to save or to take on the world? As Artists we are always looking for ideas, new ways, products, or any thing that might spark some thing inside of us to create . Whether its some thing we've never attempted before or adding to a project that we've allready started. I don't know about you, but I always have three to four projects in mind or have started, when another idea or project pop's into my head! This can be a problem when there already isn't enough time to work on the current! My brain on some days is very clustered, how about yours? I know, some say keep a note pad or a journal, some thing to refer back to for the projects in waiting when you are ready or have time! So lately my creativity is being sparked by many people, people whom I've never met before. These lovely people are Artists, Mom's, Grammys, Dad's, Children, Grampy's, teacher's, and co-worker's. As I stand at my counter where I gladly ring up customer's, they can't wait to tell you what their project or craft will be! At other times some really would like your in-put. I'm presented every day with new ideas, suggestions and INSPIRATION every day I work! I so am enjoying my new position at a local, (and my favorite craft store, even before I started working there!) To be surrounded with so much Inspiration and ideas the endless possibilities excite me!On the down side-my head is over flowing, and I must be careful not to spend my pay check there! "Gaiter's"

 

This is my newest project.( I'm not the best sketch artist, but I think you can tell from this sketch what they are.) This other photo is of the thrift shop find that I'll be cutting up to make these with! I've seen these fancy leg warmers a lot lately, and thought they would be fun to make. They are not your ordinary leg warmers, they are meant to be worn down on top of your foot, as well as partially over your ankle. Hopefully I'll have them together tomorrow, as soon as they are done, I'll post new pictures.
